Wroxham is one of Norfolk's popular places to visit often described as the `capital of Norfolk Broads' situated on the A1151 just seven miles from Norwich and close to Norfolk's wild and often virtually empty beaches.

A visit to Wroxham can take many forms; You can hire a boat by the hour/day or take a trip on the licensed public trips to explore the beautiful broads. Visit Wroxham Barns with its craft shops and animal farm, travel on the Bure Valley steam railway, visit Roys famous stores (claimed to be the biggest village store in the world).

Wroxham makes the perfect base for exploring North Norfolk with its nature reserves, stately homes, unspoilt beaches, bird watching, fishing, golf, steam railways, market towns and quaint villages with old flint buildings and not forgetting the north Suffolk broads.

Norwich, easily reached by car, train or bus has all the charm of a small city with a daily market, cathedral, famed castle museum and shops big and small whilst the lively seaside resort of Great Yarmouth is only 18 miles away.

Why not leave the car with us? Hire a bike or take a stroll on the Bure Valley car free path to the Market town of Aylsham. Regular trains go to the coastal resorts of Cromer and Sheringham as well as Norwich.

For eating out Hoveton/Wroxham and the surrounding area has a good selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes.

SO WITH ALL THIS IN MIND, AND SO MUCH TO SEE, WHY NOT SPEND A FEW DAYS WITH US WHERE OUR MOTTO IS 'THERE ARE NO STRANGERS, ONLY FRIENDS WE HAVE YET TO MEET'
